Charges for MBA Program include all tuition and instructional materials required for completion of the program. The MBA Program includes 36 credit hours taken over three (12 months) or six (24 months) semesters.

Travel cost to the MBA Capstone Simulation Course, held on the Midland Campus, is at the expense of each student (flight, gas, rental car, meals, hotels, etc.). Financial aid can be utilized to cover these expenses; however, these expenses are not included in the MBA tuition and fees.

All international students will be required to purchase the University health care plan. Others can purchase the plan if they so desire. The University yearly health care plan is available for $1,295.

The MS Program cost is exclusive of instructional materials required for completion of the program and other miscellaneous costs. The MS Programs require 30 credit hours typically completed within 24 months. Additional books not included in MS Finance material fees.

Private Donor Scholarships

Many Northwood friends and affiliates have generously provided funding for private donor scholarships.

MBA Scholarships

(Effective Fall 2019)

DeVos Graduate School scholarships are available for Evening, Online and Accelerated MBA students. To be eligible, students must enter and remain in good academic standing. Students may qualify for up to three of the following scholarships:

Early Decision Scholarship

To qualify for this $1,200 scholarship, applications must be received by June 30 for Fall start, and November 15 for Spring start.

DeVos GPA Scholarship

To qualify, this $1,200 scholarship requires a cumulative GPA of 3.25 based on a student's aggregated cumulative GPA of all undergraduate academic transcripts.

DeVos Leadership Scholarship

This $1,200 scholarship will be awarded based on the leadership rubric that is completed during your admissions interview.

How Scholarships Work

If a student receives less than 75% tuition reimbursement, the student would be eligible for the Early Decision Scholarship, unless the amount exceeds the total program cost. If a student receives 75% or more tuition reimbursement, the student may not qualify for the NU Leadership or Merit Scholarship.

The total scholarship award will be allocated equally over each semester depending on the program format:

  • Accelerated MBA students: 3 equal installments

  • Evening and Online MBA students: 6 equal installments
